VIVA VARIETY! Illustrations

Having grown up, lived, and worked in different countries, I learned to appreciate a multicultural, diverse society from an early age. I have always been fascinated and inspired by the diversity of people and human nature. Whether from different nationalities, origins, skin colours, religions, beliefs, age groups, sexual orientations, or mentalities, I see this diversity as enriching life.
Out of this interest, I created my first humorous caricature illustrations, playing lovingly -- and with a wink -- with clichés and stereotypes. Quickly they became something more, and so I decided to group them together in a series with the title VIVA VARIETY! The series has since gained significant attention and interest – propelled by multiple exhibitions - and has continued to grow, because the diversity of people is inexhaustible.
