THE MALE NUDE
The male nude is a central theme within Gilberto Giardini’s photographic work.
Influenced by theatre, classical art and portraiture, his images explore the male body as an expression of identity, presence and inner life.
The nude becomes a form of portraiture — revealing not only the physical presence of the body, but also personality, emotion and individuality.
Through intimate portraits and carefully composed photographic narratives, Giardini explores masculinity in its many dimensions: strength and vulnerability, sensuality and introspection, confidence and uncertainty.
The focus is always the human being in his entirety.
