THE MALE NUDE
The male nude is a central theme within Gilberto Giardini’s photographic work.
Influenced by theatre, classical art and portraiture, his images explore the male body as an expression of identity, presence and inner life.
The nude becomes a form of portraiture — revealing not only the physical presence of the body, but also personality, emotion and individuality.
